CALL ON KEIR STARMER TO TAKE ACTION
Over 39,000 people have been killed in Gaza so far.
At least 1.7 million have been displaced, many more than once. The ongoing fighting, including the ground offensive in Rafah, will push these already unacceptable numbers even higher.
While bullets and bombs continue to fly, the hunger crisis in Gaza is also getting worse.
The whole of Gaza is now at risk of famine, while 5 in 10 people face catastrophic food insecurity right now.
We call for an immediate ceasefire to save lives and to allow more humanitarian aid into Gaza.
Will you add your name to our message to Keir Starmer?
We call for the new Labour government to urgently use their diplomatic powers to:
- call for an immediate ceasefire
- increase the daily flow of humanitarian aid coming to Gaza – including water, fuel, food and medicine – to restart vital infrastructure such as hospitals and water and sanitation services
- prioritise the protection of all civilians from military action, including the release of hostages
- ensure International Humanitarian law is upheld
- increase humanitarian funding to urgently meet people’s basic needs
- prevent the use of violence against civilians by Israeli settlers in Area C of the West Bank and end restrictions on the movement of Palestinian communities in the West Bank.
