Tell Keir: Protect the lives of civilians in Gaza
Over 50,000 people have now been killed in Gaza since October 2023. These aren’t just numbers — they’re 50,000 lives, each with a human story that mattered.
Gaza is starving and the aid getting in is nowhere near enough. Now, more than 71,000 children under five are expected to suffer from severe malnutrition meaning their bodies won’t get the nutrients needed to grow, stay healthy, or survive.
We must act now. We’re calling on Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the UK Government to do everything in their power to prevent further loss of life, and uphold a ceasefire and let sufficient food through. This means:
- An immediate and permanent resumption of the ceasefire agreement
- Unimpeded humanitarian access for essential food, healthcare, water, fuel, sanitation, and shelter supplies
- Protection of civilians and humanitarian workers
- An immediate end to military incursions in the West Bank
At Action Against Hunger, we'll do whatever it takes to get food and supplies to the Palestinian families in urgent need. But we need the UK Government to take action to end this bombardment, starvation, and displacement.
